• Real-Time Booking System: The primary challenge was to create a system that could update workspace availability in real-time. This required a robust backend that could handle frequent updates and ensure data consistency across all devices and user accounts.
• Geo-location and Proximity Search: Integrating Google Maps APIs for mapping presented a key challenge for HotDeskNow. This involved leveraging APIs to accurately pinpoint workspace locations and calculate distances to nearby railway or metro stations in real-time. Ensuring data precision, optimizing query performance, and enhancing user interaction were critical objectives. Through careful planning and effective API utilization, we successfully implemented a feature that significantly improved user convenience and satisfaction on the platform.
• Payment Integration: Integrating a secure and seamless payment gateway was crucial to provide users with a hassle-free booking experience. The platform needed to support various payment methods and ensure transactions were processed safely.

Approach and Results

To meet the client’s requirements, we adopted a phased approach. Initially, we conducted extensive research and planning to define the project scope and identify key challenges. Our team designed the system architecture to ensure scalability and reliability. Using AWS services, we built a backend that could handle high traffic and frequent updates. The user interface was crafted using React.js with a focus on creating an intuitive and engaging user experience.

The payment integration was handled meticulously using the Stripe API to support various payment methods securely. WebSocket technology was employed to provide real-time updates on workspace availability.
